If You're Thinking Of Beefing Up Your Entertainment System, Why Not Try Set Of A 6.1 Surround Sound Speakers?
By Auido Expert at Expert Ticker LTD
What is a 6.1 sound system? Essentially, the 6 means that you would receive six speakers, while the .1 means you would also get a subwoofer with the package. This allows you to choose six different positions in which to place your speakers. The subwoofer is also an essential part of any sound system, as it is a specialized speaker used for amplifying sounds that you normally wouldn't pick up with normal speakers. Along with broadcasting crisp sound from all sides, a 6.1 sound system also plays certain sounds in certain locations in the room to create a more realistic effect. This means that if you are watching a movie or playing a video game, you will hear various sounds from the same locations as the character on the screen does, whether it's a door slamming behind you or bombs exploding all around you. With this in mind, it's easy to see why a 6.1 sound system is popular for computers as well. Imagine being able to enjoy your favorite music or computer games with a sound system that will truly create a magical experience. However, when it comes to computers, oftentimes having a system in such a small space can mean the sound system is too disruptive for some living situations. If you find yourself in this situation, it might be good to invest in a set of sound headphones as well. Surround sound headphones work in much the same way that 6.1 sound systems do. The only main difference is that sounds are broadcasted directly off of your eardrums. In many cases, prominent sounds are played through

one side of the headphones while background noise plays through the other side. Each side of the headphone is also equipped with a subwoofer to broadcast lower sounds. The difference between sound headphones and normal headphones is that the former uses small audio illusions using volume, tone, and slight lags to create the illusion that the sounds are coming from all around you, even though they're only being broadcast from two speakers. This is an ideal way to enjoy high quality sound in privacy without disturbing others. However, when using sound headphones, it's a good idea to take regular breaks. This is because prolonged listening through this device can cause listening fatigue and headaches. If you are prone to such things, perhaps it's better to invest in a 6.1 sound system instead.
