The WHO has asked all the countries in this globe to make a serious scrutiny among the public in order to avoid the spread of swine flu. It is very important because the illness is now spreading from Countries like Mexico to United States.
Who all are at threat?
The following are the list of people who are at risk:
Ø People who are affected by unceasing illness like Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome, asthma or certain types of allergies, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, etc.
Ø People who are affected by diseases such as cancers, HIV/AIDS, etc. as these diseases are affected due to low immunity power.
Ø People with transplant operations and who are affected by constant cold.
Don’t panic:
You don’t need to panic hearing about Swine Flu. Don’t be terror stricken and allow your emotions take over you. If you notice, whenever you fear that something would happen then that would surely affect you as fear gives it energy to attract bad towards you.
Stay fearless, cool and calm. Make plans on how you would keep yourself healthy by eating healthy food, drinking clean water and washing your hands whenever possible. And the thing you should keep in your mind as priority is to keep yourself positive and
give a supply of all healthy needs for your body to increase your immune system so that any chronic syndrome doesn’t take over you and you fall sick. Make a short note of HOW you will avoid the disease? WHAT you would do to prevent the disease? And if someone in your family gets affected WHAT step you would take next?
How would you prepare for Swine Flu Epidemic?
There are certain guidelines that are issued by WHO and the Government. They recommend accumulating certain things at home like hand washes, masks, gloves, vaccines, food, medicines, etc. As there is epidemic every where and a situation may arise where there may be shortage of food. So it is advisable to prepare yourself and store the required quantity of food.
As there is swine flu every where, the government may stop export and import of goods, mainly food items, which may cause the spread of epidemic. So it is better to be prepared.
Symptoms and signs of Swine Flu:
The following are the symptoms of Swine Flu:
Ø Fever
Ø Sore throat
Ø Cold
Ø Cough
Ø Muscle aches
Ø Eye Infection
Ø Pneumonia
Ø Severe Respiratory Syndrome
These symptoms may be the same for avian flu also. It can be tested in the laboratory and found out which virus has caused the infection. Whatever you may face don’t be panicky, as you have emergency supplies in hand.
